UN-Finished!

As we step into a new year, many of us carry the weight of unfinished business, unresolved struggles, unmet hopes, and the lingering fear that time has slipped away. Drawing from Jeremiah 8:20–22, this message reminds us that what feels unfinished to us is not unfinished to God.
The prophet Jeremiah voices a cry many of us recognize: “The harvest has passed, the summer has ended, and we are not saved.” It’s the ache of missed opportunities and delayed healing. Yet Scripture reveals that God is not bound by our calendars or deadlines. He holds time in His hands.
Through powerful biblical stories, we are reminded that God can slow time, speed time, and even redeem time that feels lost. What we cannot fix through effort or resolutions, God restores through grace. The true healing we long for does not come from trying harder, but from trusting deeper.
The message culminates at the Lord’s Table, where we are invited not to bring our plans or promises, but ourselves. Christ has fully consecrated Himself for us, and in response, we consecrate our lives to Him.
No matter what feels unresolved, delayed, or broken, there is still a balm, there is still a healer, and there is still hope.
